Intrapsychic and relational dynamics in families with oncologic children

Il presente articolo si propone di analizzare l’esperienza del cancro in ambito pediatrico, ponendo particolare attenzione alle dinamiche familiari e intrapsichiche che si attivano quando si ammala un bambino. L’esperienza del cancro si presenta alla famiglia come un evento incomprensibile e inaspettato, comportando una rapida riorganizzazione della struttura familiare. Inoltre, l’ospite inatteso, come da alcuni è stato definito, genera una serie di processi intrapsichici in ogni membro della famiglia che possono avere importanti ripercussioni nella vita futura. Si sottolinea infine, il ruolo, fondamentale dello psicologo in ambito oncologico pediatrico.
