From the top of Olympus to human time. Psychosis and the organization of family relationships
Abstract
This case report proposes a reflection on the use of the mythical metaphor within the therapeutic setting with a systemic relational orientation with patients who have a dialogic interaction punctuated by a slow pace and submerged, unexpressed emotionality.
This process evolves into two phases: the first one takes place when the family faces with family psychotherapy and with family psychosis, an experience that has as its objective the dialogue between the members and the recognition as well as the definition of roles; the second one is the identification of emotions and inner experiences and the sharing of these.
